We can work with your existing PBM to gain access to your pharmacy network at our preferred cost plus pricing model, or we can operate as a standalone "bolt on" pharmacy benefit.

With either solution, your members can access high quality generics and branded medications all at pass-through cost plus pricing.

We work with your existing PBM to gain access to your pharmacy network at our preferred cost plus pricing model.

What this means is that your members will be charged the published cost of the medication or your suggested copay - whichever is lower. As the payor you will only be charged our published rate.

During the implementation process, we work with your team to create a plan design to promote pharmacy utilization. Reduced copayments, increased days supplies, Preventative Rx list, or targeted outreach for the greatest savings opportunities are just a few of the strategies.

As a network pharmacy your member’s prescriptions will be included in your normal billing and payment cycle.

We can work as a standalone benefit

If Cost Plus Drugs is not in your PBMs network, we have our own PBM capabilities to price and process your members claims. We can then send these paid claims to your PBM to maintain your members complete patient profile.

With either solution, your members will have the opportunity to access high quality generics and branded medications all at cost plus pricing.

With our current mix of generic drugs, we cover greater than 60% of any group’s generic utilization. Over the next several months, as we add additional generic medications we will move this coverage up to greater than 90% of all available generics.

With the current generic drug list our clients tell us that they could cut their generic spend by greater than 70%. As we add additional generic and branded medications we expect this number to only increase.
